Independent Supportive Living
Residents in Independent Living flourish at Baycrest Terraces in a supportive community. Various suite sizes are available so residents can choose the living space that best suits their lifestyle.
Lounges on each floor promote social interaction among residents, family members, guests, and staff. Each suite is a blank canvas that residents can transform into a place that feels like home. Abundant natural light, high ceilings, and large windows with views of cityscapes, park land, sunrises, or sunsets, add to the pleasant ambiance.

- Two Kosher (COR) meals daily. Lunch and dinner are served in our elegant main-floor dining room.

Assisted Living
Assisted Living is a support and care service program being offered on our newly renovated 3rd and 4th floors. Residents enjoy spacious accommodations and benefit from a supportive environment. Our nurses work with residents to customize a support and care plan based on individual needs. We offer large bachelor and one-bedroom suites, so residents can choose the best living space for their needs.
Communal lounges encourage social interaction among residents, family members, guests, and staff. Memory Care
Our Memory Care Residence, uses the new and exciting Possibilities by Baycrest™ model of care to deliver services and support. Possibilities by Baycrest™ model is based on the world-class research done by Baycrest through the Rotman Research Institute and its world-renowned researchers and scientists. Individuals with moderate to late-stage dementia enjoy living in dignity and safety, while maximizing their potential throughout their cognitive journey.
We get to know our residents and their families intimately. Together, we create highly customized care programs that reflect the unique needs, interests, experiences, preferences, expectations, and abilities of each resident. Residents receive support with all daily needs and are encouraged to take part in social, recreational, and spiritual activities. Every resident lives a full life to the best of their ability.
We offer large bachelor and one bedroom suites. Our spacious and comfortable accommodations feature a kitchenette in each suite, a secure outdoor patio, dedicated dining space on the Memory Care floor, and access to a central kitchen on the floor where residents and families can enjoy snacks, share meals, and observe rituals.

- Our Possibilities by Baycrest™ model of care allows each resident to craft their own aging and cognitive journey helped by an expert care team
- Customized care plans and programs are delivered by a highly skilled, specially trained, consistent team
- A team of multi-skilled workers is available 24/7 to provide assistance, recreation, and other activities based on each resident’s time preference to enhance daily life pleasures
- Group and individual recreational programs are delivered by our registered recreational therapist team
- Access to a primary care physician and a geriatric psychiatrist complement regularly scheduled visits
- Nursing care is provided 24/7, including a registered practical nurse and access to an onsite registered nurse coordinator
- Access to geriatric and neurology support as needed
- Access to a social worker to counsel residents and families
